The Titans opened up section play with a comfortable win over Plum, 71-55. Keegan Smetanka led Shaler Area with 14 points, Brandon London and Julian Vizzoca each added 11 points. Will Beckner led Plum and all scorers with 23 points in a losing effort.

Woodland Hills pulls off the upset of the season, defeating the previously unbeaten Titans, 52-46. Brandon London led the Titans with 20 points; but, it was Scoop Smith, who scored 22 points, and Troy Akins, who added 11 points, that helped Woodland Hills take control of the game in the fourth quarter to seal the victory for the Wolverines.

The Titans bounced back with a win over the defending WPIAL 5A Champions, Penn Hills, 63-52. Keegan Smetanka led Shaler Area with 19 points and Brandon London tallied 17 points in the effort. Their strong 18-11 fourth quarter helped the Titans close out the victory.

A brilliant second quarter helped The Titans beat Armstrong on the road, 73-62. They outscored the River Hawks 32-10 in that quarter to carry them to the victory. The Titans had 14 threes, including 5 from Kaden Orga and 4 from Keegan Smetanka. Shaler Area had four players in double figures. Kaden Orga had 22, Keegan Smetanka had 14, Brandon London had 11, and Sam Himrod had 10. Isaiah Riggle led Armstrong with 19 points.

Girls Basketball lost to section opponent Mars, 45-42. After trailing 34-25, the Titans came back and tied it 42-42. Unfortunately, a last-minute three by Mars sealed the game. The Titans were highlighted by Bayleigh Perez with 16 points.

Girls basketball lost the Route 8 Rivalry to Hampton, 43-38. The Titans were highlighted by Jorga Bernesser with 9 points and 7 rebounds.
Boys Bowling

Boys bowling defeated Nazareth Prep, 7-0. The Titans won all three matchups by scores of 932-603, 1023-662, and 877-735. The Titans were highlighted by Liam Creagh with a 681 three-game score and Braden Scott with a 599 three-game score.
Girls Bowling
