Boys Basketball

Boys Basketball won an old-rivalry matchup against the North Allegheny Tigers, 53-38. The Titans controlled the pace of the whole game by playing strong defense and dominating the boards on offense and defense. The Titans were led by Brandon London and Kaden Orga with 14 points.

Boys Basketball kicked off the second half of section play with a dominating victory over Plum, 71-32. The Titans started off strong by leading by eight points at the end of the 1st quarter but used a 20-7 run in the 2nd quarter to propel them to victory. The Titans were led by Julian Vizzoca with 14 points, Keegan Smetanka with 11 points, and Kaden Orga with 10 points.
Girls Basketball

Girls Basketball came up short in their comeback against Erie City, 42-40. The game was a tale of two quarters as the Titans were outscored 30-11 in the 1st and 3rd quarters. The Titans would respond in the 2nd and 4th quarters by going on a 29-12 run of their own. The Titans were led by Bayleigh Perez with 13 points.

The Titans lost to cross-town rival North Hills, 42-36. The game was close until the 3rd quarter when North Hills went on a 18-6 run in the 3rd quarter. The Titans would try and make a comeback in the 4th, but ultimately came up short. The Titans were led by Reese Smetanka with eight points.
Boys Bowling

Boys Bowling honored seniors Braden Scott, Aaron Manuel, and Josh Turner on their senior night. The Titans would make it a happy senior night by defeating Deer Lakes 5-2 and clinching their 1st section championship in team history. The Titans dropped game one by a score of 909-903. This was the only single-game the Titans lost all season. The Titans would respond with two comfortable victories to clinch the section. The Titans were led by Braden Scott with a 716 three-game score and Tyler Woistman with a 605 three-game score.
Girls Bowling

Girls Bowling honored senior Tara Demircelik on their senior night. Unfortunately, the Titans lost 7-0 to Deer Lakes. The Titans were led by Brooke Callahan with a 559 three-game series and Chloe Maurer with a single game of 140.
Wrestling
1/20-21
Boys Wrestling took 15th place at the Allegheny County Championships. The Titans had three of their wrestlers make the quarterfinals in Jonah Cable, Michael Ulery, and Vito Barravecchio.

The Titans lost to Kiski Area, 35-24. The Titans had victories from Anthony Jones, Jonah Cable, Jack Begg, Jacob Cable, Michael Ulery, and Vito Berravecchio.
Hockey
1/25
Hockey lost a tough overtime match against Mars, 5-4. The Titans were trailing 4-1 in the 3rd period but three late goals from Brendan Fitzgerald, Drake Sommer, and Dylan Marsden forced overtime. Unfortunately, the Titans would go on to lose in overtime.
Indoor Track and Field

The Indoor Track and Field team had a meet over the weekend. Daniel Presto (7.46), Ryan Peterson, and Lyssie Arrigo all ran personal bests in the 60m dash. In the pole vault, Gabi Exler got a 7’ 0’’ vault and in the triple jump, Mark Povich came in second place with a 40’ 3’’ jump. Jayla Antomachi threw a personal best in the shot put with a 36’ 10.75’’ which got her second place. Finally in the 4x200m, the team consisting of Daniel Presto, Ryan Peterson, Mark Povich, and Garret Grazier finished with a time of 1:39.75.
